WWE continues to secure contracts with both current and former stars.

According to PWInsider.com, Armando Alejandro Estrada is the latest to sign a Legends deal with WWE. Estrada’s association with the company spanned from 2004 to 2012.

Initially starting as a manager—most notably for the late Umaga—Estrada later took on the role of General Manager of ECW. After his release in 2008, he returned to WWE in 2010 for a two-year stint, although he was not frequently featured on television during this period.

Following his WWE tenure, Estrada returned to the independent wrestling circuit before retiring from in-ring competition in 2013. He now joins other Legends signees, including Jacqueline, Jesse Ventura, The Headbangers, Mick Foley, Victoria, The Godfather, and The Dudley Boyz.

Legends deals enable reslingnews WWE to use the stars’ likenesses for a variety of purposes, such as video games and merchandise, while still allowing the talent to pursue opportunities elsewhere.
